We are very excited to debut our Spring 2011 designer bridesmaid and little white dress collection in two weeks at New York's International Bridal Market at Pier 94!

Austin Fashion Week Ends...

It was a busy, fun packed week filled with fashionable people, cocktails and artists of every kind. Makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers and designers packed into boutiques each night reviewing the work they've done over the past month. Models showed off our Bella Collection in sweet, candy colors at the Eye Candy Photography Studio.




At Touch of Sass boutique, models lined up and showed off our little white dress collection previewing two new designs from "La Femme en Vol" Spring 2011 and our new Tear Drop Gown in Poppy Red.



Millinery designer Lana Chu was kind enough to lend us her gorgeous hats which really gave the collection that vintage vibe.



The CW Austin interviewed me in the CIARLA Atelier where we discussed plans for the future and favorite brides of the past.

Although I had a blast and met some really talented and wonderful people, I'm looking forward to a more relaxing week come Monday.

Austin Fashion Week Begins!!

Austin Fashion Week begins tomorrow and it's going to be a busy week of parties, fashion shows and braving the Texas heat. If you are local, come to CIARLAbride parties on Monday, August 16th at Eye Candy Photography Studio located at 908 East 5th St Suite 112


and Wednesday, August 18th at Touch of Sass boutique at 500 N Lamar. Hope to see you there!

Brides and Maid of Honor We Love...

I love hearing that a bridesmaid loves her CIARLA dress and plans to wear it again after the wedding she bought it for.



Recent bride Blake, who was married in Palm Beach Florida at the Rybovich Marina, picked the CIARLA Sophia dress in sunset for her Maid of Honor and sister Lauren. She let all of her bridesmaids pick their own dresses in the same color palette which made for a beautiful, vogue style bridal party.



The sisters looked gorgeous in every picture together and the dresses complimented each other perfect without being "matchy matchy". We love how mother of the bride also coordinated with a deeper coral color and flower, strap gown.

CIARLA Rosette Dress Featured in Get Married Magazine!

Pretty in Pink, the Alice collection continues to inspire brides this season. CIARLA's Rosette dress in strawberry preserves will be a hot item for cocktail attire this season. Offered in a plethora of colors, this 60's inspired shift dress is also available in antique white making it the perfect engagement or reception party dress for brides.




Featured on the "Glam Candy" page in Get Married magazine, this sweet, candy hued color is sure to be a hot trend for fall 2010.

CIARLAbride is all about fashion forward bridal designs so we appreciate when a bride picks a gown with an Avante-Garde twist.



Recent bride, Kristen Chin and I first met during Austin Fashion week in 2009 when she described her gorgeous Balenciaga wedding gown she was going to wear that winter for her wedding. Balenciaga is a design house I admire for both vintage creations from the 60's and modern day, futuristic designs that are always pushing fashion forward.




Simple, chic and elegant, the gown has subtle detail and incredible, pristine craftsmanship. It was cut on the bias and sewn together in pieces at the hip while the neckline had a draped cowlneck. The back is twisted into a lovely draped design with contrasting black lining.
