THE FASHION SPOT INTERVIEWS CIARLA

I love designing custom gowns for brides who want something they cant find off the rack and love it even more when a bride wants to wear color. Bride Ashley Smith came to me last season because she wanted a non-traditional gown for her wedding in Mexico.

"When I envisioned myself on my wedding day I always saw myself in something that was fun and playful…. I told Jessica I was open to color and that I loved yellow. I was looking for something whimsical and nontraditional, something that would embrace the vibe of Mexico without being too literal all while being flattering and form fitting. Jessica did an amazing job building the perfect dress for me."

This week in NYC, Bridal Week Fall 2010 shows off hot new designs on the runway and The Fashion Spot Editor interviews CIARLA to find out about our fashion-forward bridal designs. You can read more about our Q&A with editor Andrea Grant, current collections, Ashley's custom "Cha Cha gown" and what CIARLA has planned for next season at
